Avoiding the deepest levels of pain is part of the fellowship denial. We replace the depression of the alcoholic with the grandiosity and dissociation of so-called recovery. This is a recovery step backwards we are lead to believe that full recovery is attainable by simply admitting the damage we’ve done to others and making amends. This is untrue. Our Child Withins traumas of disrespect and abuse must be addressed and fully grieved and mourned for a deeper healing to take place. This deep healing restores our intuitive voice and we start to gain our birthright peace, serenity and above all else freedom.
